Earlier I posted a video on the long term metabolic damage (adapted thermogenisis) that is causing former contestants of The Biggest Loser.
This gives me the chance to look more closely at the starvation diet and exercise program pandered by the show’s biggest star, Gillian Michaels.
This video, with help from Vegan Gains, explains why this nutrition plan can only work for weight loss, like so many others, if you follow a starvation level caloric intake combined with the punishing exercise routine prescribed.
Follow this at your peril. Contestants on the Biggest Loser are still struggling with the impact of adapted thermogenisis six and more years after the program has ended.
