This rates as one of the more interesting dilemas that I have encountered over the course of my coaching career.

What do you do as an athlete when you are good at an event – or in this case – a group of events, but you hate those events?

Your distaste is almost to the level where a root canal feels a better alternative than the weekly training needed to continue performing at top level.

What to do? How do you move forward?
