Belly fat is almost always a contentious issue. Invariably within social media there is a push back against the issue as so many are hyper sensitive to perceived fat shaming.

I was clinically obese and it wasn’t until I made a lifestyle shift that things improved. Sure, I could go on diet and lose a couple of dozen pounds but all those pounds would return to my belly after the diet and they would bring friends with them.

The lifestyle shift wasn’t rocket science. It wasn’t even difficult – even though I had thought it would be.
